Mark Crofts Debut EP out NOW!

After a period away from playing/recording originals in order to focus more on covers/functions gigs, I have now gone back into the studio and I am proud to present my debut EP that is available to download from my website under the music tab.  The EP was recorded, Mixed and Mastered by the fantastic Jeff Cooper from Room 2 Studios in Maidenhead. The EP is 4 tracks that have evolved over the years and now with some added nuances are sounding better than ever. This will be one for all the rock fans out there and then once that is out there, I can start working on my "soul-based" album once again. 2018 is going to be an exciting year for me musically and there will be lots of new venues and collaborations coming up, so stay tuned and you can find out all about it

New Venues for 2019!

The Whip & Collar (Iver) and Maidens Head (Maidenhead) have been added to the roster of new venues for 2019, so come down and sample what these 2 very different venues have to offer.

If you like your "Old skool" pub, then The Whip & Collar is definitely up your street offering a great selection of beers and some great home cooked food to boot. The Maidens Head in Maidenhead is fantastic if you like lots of different beers to choose from! They are one of the only pubs to still do live music in the centre of Maidenhead, so come and keep music live!

Souljer is now a flexible organism!

Over the years, Souljer has had a few different members and lineups, with guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and multiple vocalists being involved along the way.

In 2017 I have made the decision to make it even more flexible, by tailoring the members and numbers to suit the occasion. We have played plenty of weddings and functions together and also separately in different projects, so we will be bringing a lot of live experience to the party.

There will be a core of musicians who make an appearance to keep consistency and the quality high, but there will also be a number of deputies who step in and will be more than capable of filling the gaps.

I love playing music of all kinds, but there is definitely something about playing in a band that wets the appetite for me as a performer, so 2017 onwards will be about trying to improve myself as an individual and in a band as well.

So for whatever the occasion and whatever the venue, we can provide you with the setup you need, so look no further than Souljer.
